Curd
Curd, also known as yogurt, is a dairy product obtained by fermenting milk with specific bacterial cultures. This fermentation process, usually involving Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus bacteria, thickens the milk and imparts a tangy flavor to the resulting curd. Besides its creamy texture and distinct taste, curd is highly nutritious, containing probiotics that promote gut health and aid digestion.
